Ilana and Ben could do just that on their intimate garden wedding day at the Tusculum Farm outside of Baltimore, MD. Their gorgeous garden wedding featured the first summer full moon, stunning wildflowers in our Lucky Penny Floral Colorway No. 4, and a chuppah the bride hand-painted herself.
Ilana got ready with her closest gal pals in the upstairs room of their farmhouse venue while Ben stayed with his family, anxiously anticipating seeing his bride. The details of Ilana’s bridal look were phenomenal, from the modern florals on her dress, the antique lace on her veil, and the drop flower earrings. Everyone kept complimenting just how much her bridal style truly matched her personality!
Before the wedding, Ilana and Ben had an intimate first look where they shared vows privately with each other. This was a moment where the love these two had was evident in every smile, glance, and laugh they shared together. The details of their farmhouse venue made for the perfect backdrop to share this memorable experience together.
For their intimate garden wedding ceremony, the couple wed under a gorgeous chuppah that Ilana hand-painted herself. Because of their small wedding size, Ilana and Ben could do something that not many couples can do during their ceremony. Guests came up and made a personal blessing to the bride and groom giving them their best wishes. What a beautiful memory for the couple and the guests!
Ilana and Ben's wedding was a fun example of how we can specifically customize each colorway to be exactly how our Lucky Penny Floral customers wish. Our Colorway No. 4 that Ilana chose typically does not include so many seasonal wildflowers, but since that was her vision, we were glad to bring it to life and see how gorgeous it looked all put together! Ilana’s bouquet in our Lucky Penny Floral Colorway No. 4 added a perfect texture to her floral lace wedding gown and the garden venue of their wedding day. Her bridal bouquet featured seasonal wildflowers in yellow, white, lilac, pink, and blush. It was a gorgeous way to add color to their palette without making it too bright. Matching her bouquet were flowers decorating the ceremony and reception area in the same Colorway No. 4 florals.
Live music played during the outdoor reception at the barn, adding to the elegant and whimsical garden ambiance. Guests and the newlywed couple ate dinner under the stars and the summer's first full moon, making it the perfect scenery amongst the fields to have a night they will never forget. So many different family members stood up and gave heartfelt speeches to Ilana and Ben, expressing their well wishes as they embarked on this next journey together.
