Morgan and Kit were amongst the many couples in 2020 who had to adjust their wedding plans due to the pandemic. Keeping hope and love alive, they went through with their boho wedding plans at the Main Street Ballroom in Ellicott City near Baltimore, Maryland. We selfishly are so glad they did so because their big day wasn’t just picture perfect; it was a beautiful day filled with tears, laughs, and memories to last a lifetime!
Morgan and Kit were both nervous with excitement for their first look. Anticipation was building as the two were getting ready in their separate rooms with their corresponding wedding parties. Once it was finally ready for the first look, this boho couple was filled with smiles and tears of happiness. The excitement that they were about to officially husband and wife was becoming more real by the minute!
Photographer, Kate Ann, captured a beautiful gallery before the two walked down the aisle. These were lovely moments where just Morgan and Kit were able to have time to themselves and be in awe that their wedding day was finally here. This was a day they had planned and dreamt about for so long, and it was really happening! This boho couple will have these photos to look back on forever and bring a smile to their face when they remember just how lovely their day turned out.
To match their boho wedding at the Main Street Ballroom, Morgan chose the Lucky Penny Floral Colorway No. 4. The blue, green, and tan color hues matched perfectly with the Autumn setting and her bridesmaid's dresses. Colorway No. 4 was a perfect choice to bring in the right amount of color without making it overpowering. This boho bride had Protea, Eucalyptus, and even more customizable flowers in her bouquet.
Throughout the reception and cocktail hour area at their venue in Ellicott City near Baltimore, Maryland, were flowers and decorations to match Morgan’s Lucky Penny Floral Colorway No. 4 bouquet. Each table featured a boho centerpiece of our bottle trio in clear and brown glass. This made for an effortless, aesthetically pleasing table setup.
There wasn’t a dry eye in the house from family, friends, and the couple themselves as they exchanged vows at their ceremony. So much went into planning the perfect boho wedding that they had dreamed of, and now it was time to celebrate...Morgan and Kit are finally husband and wife!
Before the fun started at the reception, Morgan and Kit escaped with photographer Kate Ann to capture their first photos as a married couple. The sun was just setting, which created a beautiful backdrop amongst the trees and moody lighting to match their boho aesthetic.
Set on their head table, desert boho wedding flowers from Lucky Penny Floral were added in clear vases to match the centerpieces of the guest tables. Once the emotional speeches from family and friends were complete, the couple cut their wedding cake with masks matching their outfits (hello 2020 weddings). After the traditions were complete, the dancing began where all the guests were up and moving for the rest of the evening!
Morgan and Kit had an exciting sparkler send-off with all of their closest family and friends to end the already perfect day.
