As a wedding florist serving Baltimore, MD and surrounding areas, we receive many requests from our clients with customizations to bring their wedding flowers to life. One unique request that the Lucky Penny Floral team thoroughly enjoyed bringing to life was the vision Lindsay and Paul had for their wedding. This bride wanted to see tropical elements and all the ferns incorporated into our Colorway No. 1 and Colorway No. 4 bouquets for their outdoor greenery wedding.
For Lindsay’s bridal bouquet, she loved the texture included in our Colorway No. 4, but wanted the color scheme of Colorway No 1. To make this happen, we added tropical elements and went heavy on ferns to make the bouquet more cascading. In her premium Colorway No. 4 bouquet, we included shades of white, cream, ivory, sage, emerald, celadon, and lime. Blooms local to the Baltimore area that were added were white dahlias, white zinnias, white anthurium, anemones, and eucalyptus.
Matching Lindsay's tropical green and white bridal bouquet were bridesmaid's bouquets in our Colorway No. 4 Medium sized bouquet. The medium-sized bouquet is free formed with 10 to 15 stems, making them the perfect size if you want a little extra for your favorite girls. All of the same ferns and tropical blooms were included in the bridesmaid bouquets to keep the aesthetic consistent.
Lindsay and Paul did a fantastic job DIYing the decoration for their outdoor greenery wedding. They were able to turn their backyard into a tropical wedding with the help of cascading ferns and white blooms. To help keep this vision alive throughout, the couple purchased bundles of greens to incorporate into their centerpieces with tall candles.
