Do’s and Don’ts of Customizing Your Lucky Penny Floral Order

Do's:

• Tell us your favorite flower and greenery varieties!
• Add white to any Colorway (especially for bridal bouquets!)
• Request minor color variations (such as, "add blush to romanticize the moody tones in Colorway No. 3" or "add seasonal orange for a fall wedding") 
• Have fun with it! Mix and match Colorways for your maids and men

Don'ts:

• Don't request a bouquet of only one type of flower (for example, a solid peony bouquet or a bouquet of just sunflowers). All of our bouquets are mixtures. 
• Don't be opposed to seasonal substitutions. For example, if you write that you love peonies, but your wedding is in September, you'll find fluffy dahlias and roses in your bouquet to achieve that softness. 
• Please don't send us a picture. All our bouquets are custom designed in the Lucky Penny signature style, with your color and flower preferences in mind. We create one-of-a-kind, artisanal pieces, not replicas!

Request from client: Loves anemones and peonies

The result: For this late April wedding, peonies weren’t quite in season yet, so we substituted for white garden roses and loaded the bouquet up with anemones as requested.

Request from clients: Colorway No. 1 with Pops of Colorway No. 2  

The result: White and pink poppy perfection. (The bridesmaids carried solid Colorway No. 2, so this was the perfect way to differentiate the bride and blend the two looks together).

Request from clients: Succulents and eucalyptus

The result: We added an air plant, a few succulents, seeded eucalyptus, eucalyptus, and some textural orlaya to make  the usually soft shape of Colorway No. 1 a little more boho for this greenery loving bride.
